What might your days look like

The Payroll Implementations Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of annual, monthly, quarterly or weekly payrolls. The allocation of clients will be based on experience and complexity of client’s needs. This is a client focused payroll position that will offer payroll professionals varied and diverse opportunities to undertake an automated payroll process for a portfolio of clients.

Many of our customers are not experts in Payroll or HR and our platform and our business are constantly changing. You are responsible for guiding our customers efficiently and effectively. To be successful, you will need to communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, prioritise tasks, and drive outcomes.

As a Payroll Implementations Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:

Client Delivery:

End to end project managing new client onboarding and implementation following established processes including kick-off meetings, system configuration, training, parallel run, year to date import and go live
Proactively highlight with a solution focus, any obstacles in the implementation process for any specific clients – i.e any new clients where the current process has come across roadblocks or challenges
Ensure a smooth handover to Payroll Business Partner
Account management:

Build and develop relationships with clients to ensure trust as an outsourced partner
liaising with clients on the phone, via email and at times, in person.

Run and provide weekly report to Head of Payroll Implementations
Enforce a positive duty to reduce the risk of sexual harassment from occurring, providing a safe space for all employees

Information Security Risk Management

Awareness of, and comply with, all information security policies of the organisation relevant to your business role
Contribute to risk assessment where required
Take action to prevent an information security incident from occurring or escalating, where possible, and report any actual or potential security breaches

What will you bring

Minimum of 4 years payroll experience work experience
CIPP trained or qualified preferred
Project Management Experience
Strong IT skills including MS Office and databases
Experience of various pension providers
Ability to build relationships
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Self -motivated and able to work under minimal supervision
Excellent customer care skills
